UPDATE: No Chain Controls On Mountain Highways

Mountain Communities – The CHP is reporting there are no chain controls on mountain highways.
Despite the removal of chain controls, CalTrans and the California Highway Patrol caution motorists to slow down and be prepared for winter weather conditions.
