Twin Peaks, CA – Toys and gift cards are still needed by the Feast For Families program.

Each year since 2006, volunteers at the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station and Crest Forest Fire have gathered food, toys and gift cards for distribution to mountain families in need during the Christmas holidays. This year, 34 families — with a total of 79 children — will receive a visit from Santa and all the fixings for a holiday meal. But Santa needs a few more toys plus gift cards for 14 teenagers (five boys and nine girls) to make sure everyone gets something special.

Unwrapped new toys and the gift cards can be taken to the following locations by Monday, December 17:

TWIN PEAKS SHERIFF’S STATION – 26010 Highway 189 – Twin Peaks

CREST FOREST FIRE STATION 25  – 23407 Crest Forest Drive – Crestline

CREST FOREST FIRE STATION 26 – 737 Grandview Road – Twin Peaks

In addition to the toys and gift cards, Santa and his volunteers will be providing each family with a ham. a turkey and all the fixings for the complete holiday meal, plus some staples to help out during the winter season.
