Lake Arrowhead, CA – The employment contract of ALA General Manager John Rutledge has not been renewed.
The action to not extend Rutledge’s contract, which expired December 31, 2012, was made on a majority vote of the ALA Board of Directors. The board met in an Emergency Closed Session at 3 p.m. on December 20 to discuss the personnel mater.
Rutledge moved to Lake Arrowhead from Texas and started his tenure with ALA on May 9, 2005.
ACTING GENERAL MANAGER
ALA directors appointed Lake Manager Jim Grant as Acting General Manager.
Grant, who is active in the Rim of the World Historical Society, will most likely hold the interim position until a successor can be named.
No timetable has been released for the selection process.
