Rim Youth Basketball Tips Off New Season

Lake Arrowhead, CA – Opening Day of the 2013 Youth Basketball season is Saturday, January 19.

This year, the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District (ROWRPD) has more than 230 players involved. The young players will practice and play to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of the game of basketball. The youngsters range from kindergarten to 8th grade, both boys and girls.

ROWRPD’s news release indicates that the players love to show off their new skills, and the district encourages all mountain residents to come out, watch the kids play and cheer them on!

THE GAMES

Games will be played at the Rim of the World High School, beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until 4 p.m. every Saturday until March 31.
