NAMED BY SUPERVISOR RUTHERFORD
By Michael P. Neufeld
Crestline, CA – Crestline resident Richard “Rick” Dinon has been selected by Second District Supervisor Janice Rutherford to fill the final vacancy on the Crest Forest Municipal Advisory Council. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Bob Yeomans earlier this year.
Dinon’s appointment is scheduled for approval on Tuesday, September 10, when the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meet in the County Government Center in San Bernardino.
Dignon, who is currently chair of the Lake Gregory Improvement Committee, is also active in several groups and organizations, including the Lake Gregory Yacht Club.
The term will expire November 14, 2015.
Yeomans, owner of Construction Investment Group, Inc., a general construction and property maintenance firm, indicated to Supervisor Rutherford that an illness in his family was the reason for his resignation.
“I just won’t have time to continue serving,” Yeomans told ROTWNEWS.
Yeomans is a former president of the Crestline-Lake Gregory Chamber of Commerce and a member of Crestline CONNECT, a business networking group that meets every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at Billy Bear’s Restaurant in Crestline.
