Weather Prompts Relocation of Big Bear High Football Game

Big Bear Lake, CA – The second round CIF-SS East Valley Division football game between Big Bear High (9-2) and Redlands Citrus Valley (6-5) has been moved from Minder Field in Big Bear to Barstow High School’s Longworthy Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 22.

BB High HelmetThe move was prompted by weather predictions for the mountain communities. Big Bear will still serve as the host team.


Last week, Big Bear rolled to a 49-0 victory over Ontario Christian (6-5).

Meanwhile, Citrus Valley defeated Fillmore 41-14 to advance in the playoffs.


Barstow High School’s Longworthy Stadium is located at 430 South First Street in Barstow.

Take Highway 18 through Lucerne Valley to Highway 247 (Barstow Road). Proceed on Highway 247 to Barstow and East Mountain View Avenue and turn right on South First Street.
