Brush Fire at Hwy 330 and Highland – Update 7 – July 13, 9:27 a.m.

UPDATE 7 – July 13, 9:27 a.m.

Highway 330 has been reopened from Highland to Running Springs.

UPDATE 6 – July 13, 7:30 a.m.

The Hidden fire at Highland and Hwy 330 is 34 acres and 20% contained. Hwy 330 is still closed in both directions.

UPDATE 5 – July 12, 6:35 p.m.

Hwy 330 will remain closed until Cal Trans can assess the situation at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning July 13.

UPDATE 4 – July 12, 6:03 p.m.

The Hidden Fire is now at 33 acres and 20% contained. Hwy 330 between, Highland and Running Springs, remains closed.

UPDATE 3 – July 12, 5:00 p.m.

Per San Bernardino National Forest – Hidden Fire is holding at 20 acres and the forward rate has been stopped. Some aircraft is being released.

UPDATE 2 –  JULY 12, 4:52 p.m.

The fire is the Hidden Fire. I.C. is requesting an ambulance for a heat related injury. Fire is at 15 – 20 acres. Air tankers are making good progress on putting a retardant line around the fire

UPDATE  1 – July 12, 4:21 p.m.

Fire is holding at 15 acres and holding. 4 type 2 helicopters and 1 type 3 as the VLAT have been requested.

Highland,CA – fire at bottom of 330 and Highland.  Hwy 330 has been shut down from Highland to Running Springs. The fire is a 20 plus acres with rapid rate of speed.

2nd alarm resources are en route. AA12, with 2 tankers, one coming from Ramona. Requesting 6 type 1 crews, Immediate need.
