BLOOD DRIVE – Twin Peaks Sheriff Station November 16

Twin Peaks, CA – The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station, in conjunction with Lifestream, will host a blood drive and bone marrow screening on Thursday, November, 16 from 2 p.m.

The blood drive takes place in the old courtroom of the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station, located at 26010 Highway 189, in Twin Peaks. For an appointment call 800-879-4484.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO DONATE BLOOD

Individuals who are at least 15 years of age can donate blood. All prospective donors must be free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds, and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.

Donors are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids prior to the donation process and to bring along photo identification.

PARENTAL CONSENT NECESSARY FOR THOSE 15-16 YEARS

Those between the ages of 15 – 16 must provide parental consent. Parental consent forms are available at any donor center, community blood drive, or on line at: http://www.LSTREAM.org.

RECEIVE DONOR POINTS FOR ON LINE PURCHASES

Donors receive free cholesterol screening, and points that may be redeemed for items through LifeStream online donor store at: http://www.LSTREAM.org.

Donating blood takes only an hour; yet gives someone the possibility of enjoying years of life.
