Get a Taste of the Winter Blues at the Tudor House On Saturday, January 13

By Susan A. Neufeld

Lake Arrowhead, CA – The joint will definitely be jumping this Saturday, January 13, at The Tudor House. The Juke Jumpers, local blues maven Adrianna Marie, is delighted to be bringing internationally acclaimed blues harp player, Rj Mischo, to the mountain stage — one of only two shows he will be doing in Southern California — for a night of Roadhouse Blues.

Rj Mischo is considered by critics and fans to be in the upper echelon of today’s great harp players and singers. He began playing at age 10, and by the age of 19 he was working as a full-time musician in and around the Twin Cities’ of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

The harmonica player’s music is drenched in the grease of the juke joint shuffles that have stayed in style since before it wa called rock’n roll. His magnificent tone formidable chops and self-assured vocals make him a top entertainer.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner, with the show beginning at 7 p.m. There is no cover charge; dinner will be available for purchase.

For more information or reservations call (909) 336-5000 or visit http://www.TudorHouseEntertainment.com.

The Tudor House is located at 800 Arrowhead Villas Road, Lake Arrowhead.

Additionally, mountain musicians are invited to the stage at The Tudor House this Friday, January 12, for a jam session. Bring your voice, your guitar, your drums, your bass, your accordion, your sax – whatever you play – and join in on the fun.

And if you don’t sing or play an instrument? Come and be part of the audience! The last jam was over-the-top fantastic. Here’s a chance to hear musicians you may not have heard before. Doors open at 5:30 pm for dinner.
