HIGHWAY 18: Caltrans Clearing Rock Fall In Arctic Circle Area

Mountain Communities – Caltrans crews were dispatched to the Arctic Circle area of Highway 18 shortly after noon on Thursday to clear a rock fall that included a large boulder blocking the downbound lanes.

Motorists are advised to be on the alert when passing through the area while the Caltrans equipment is working to clear the boulder and other materials.
