Lake Arrowhead, CA – LifeStream blood bank is appealing to community residents to respond to a nationwide shortage of donated blood by setting aside as little as one hour to make a potentially lifesaving blood donation on Monday, January 16, at Mountains Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead.

mch_logo12_tag_colorAll blood types and all types of blood donations – whole blood or automated donations known as apheresis – are needed.

The LifeStream blood drive at Mountains Community Hospital will be from from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donors receive a free mini-physical as part of the donation process. Donors will also receive free cholesterol screening.
