CALTRANS: Roadwork Planned For Highways 18 And 330

Mountain Communities – Both Highways 18 and 330 will have one-way traffic closures this coming week as Caltrans crews perform grading and paving, drainage work and/or guardrail repairs.


HWY 18 OpenThe grinding and paving work on Highway 18 is scheduled between 8:01 a.m. and 5:01 p.m. Wednesday (January 18) and Thursday (January 19) and 8:01 a.m. to 4:01 p.m. on Friday (January 20).

Both work zones — Snow Valley Mountain Resort to Lakeview Point and Holiday Lane (Running Springs) to Snow Valley Mountain Resort — will entail one-way traffic Wednesday through Friday and impact both north and southbound traffic.


Work hours of the two Highway 330 projects start at 8:01 a.m. all three days.

HWY 330The first Caltrans project on Highway 330 will be drainage work from Live Oak Drive (Running Springs) to just north of Highland Avenue (Highland) on Wednesday and Thursday lasting until 4:30 p.m.

Guardrail work on Highway 330 will be between Old City Creek Road to View Drive (Running Springs) with work and Wednesday and Thursday ending at 5:01 p.m. and on Friday at 4:01 p.m.


The work on Highways 18 and 330 is subject to favorable weather conditions.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when passing through the work zones.
