Caltrans continues work on the $23 million project on SR 138 east realignment project.  The realignment project will remove several curves and steep grades reducing the three-mile stretch by one mile.

SR-138 will be closed for 14 days, between Interstate 15 and Summit Valley Road, starting Tuesday, March 21,2017 at 6:00 a.m. until April 4, 2017 at 6:00 a.m.. The closure is necessary to complete pavement realignment work.  Detour signs will be in place.

The project also includes constructing outside shoulders, three bridges, and three wildlife crossings.  SR 138 will remain a two lane road with one lane in each direction.
