Slash and Debris Pile Burning In Moonridge Area March 22-23

By Susan A. Neufeld

UPDATE – March 22,2017  1:16 p.m.

The slash and debris pile burning in the Moonridge area has been canceled for March 22 -23.  It has been rescheduled for March 27 or 28.

Mountain Communities – The U.S. Forest Service is burning slash and debris piles on land west of Clubview Drive and south of Willow Ave in the Moonridge area Wednesday and Thursday as conditions permit.

This is part of the on-going South Big Bear Fuels Reduction Project and Forest Health project.  We do anticipate additional fuels reduction work once the snow accumulation melts.

Smoke may be visible in the Moonridge area.
