Fawnskin – “Music in the Mountains” returns to Big Bear Valley. The nonprofit Southern California Mountains Foundation has announced its 2017 summer concert season at the outdoor Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater.
Stacy Gorin, Southern California Mountains Executive Officer tells ROTWNEWS: “We’re excited to launch this summer’s schedule and thank our new and returning sponsors who are joining us in raising money this season for the health and sustainability of our public lands through the power of this concert series”.
SIX SHOWS ARE SCHEDULED
Six shows are scheduled through out the summer evenings, including new and returning performers.
June 24 – Kenny Metcalf – Elton John Tribute
July 8 – Jim Curry – John Denver Tribute
July 22 – China Grove – Tribute to the Doobie Brothers
August 5 – DSB – Journey Tribute, with special guest Live from Earth, Pat Benatar Tribute.
August 19 – James Garner – Tribute to Johnny Cash
September 2 – The Long Run – Eagles Tribute
Presenting sponsor Big Bear Vacations returns, along with: Big Bear Visitors Bureau, Mitsubishi Cement Company, Mountaintop Recreation, Gresham Savage Nolan & Tilden and First Mountain Bank.
