Walmart Pharmacy will be giving immunizations at the Health Fair on Saturday May 20th. They will be immunizing for Pneumonia and Whooping Cough. They will be in the Yacht Club building across from the tennis courts on Forest Shade in Crestline. these are covered by some insurance plans. Crestline, CA – “Saluting Good Health” is the theme of the free RIM Communities Health Fair, scheduled for Saturday, May 20, at the Crestline Tennis Courts, located at 607 Forest Shade Road. The venue has been donated by the Lake Gregory Recreation Company.
The health Fair — made possible through the Rim Community Resource Network (RCRN) — is designed to provide attendees with information about support services, education and resources in the mountain communities, to keep residents healthy and safe.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The Health Fair is physically located between Roadhouse Pizza and the Mountain Communities Boys & Girls Club.
The Health Fair is free for the entire community. It will include activities such as games for kids, prizes, food and entertainment — in addition to health screenings and a whole lot more.
At 12:00 noon the POCKET AWARDS will be given out. These awards are given to community members that work to keep our children safe and are presented by Rim Family Services.
In past years there have been booths staffed by representatives of Mountains Community Hospital, RIM Family Services, Lake Gregory Chiropractic, Farmers Insurance (Shelli Wimmer) and Herbalife (Charlie Farrell).
