MUSIC – MUSIC – MUSIC is Coming to the Tudor House

Lake Arrowhead, CA – The Tudor House is calling all mountain musicians to the first Jam Session, on Friday, June 23. This is an opportunity for Mountain Musicians who have longed to perform on the big stage to do just that.

And with that, Julie Van Dusen, who hosts the National Public Radio show with her husband, JP Houston, opens each monthly taping on the mountain.

The Saturday, June 24 show will feature singer-songwriter Myshkin.  The New Orleans Times Picayune said of the singer: “Myshkin’s voice is not to be taken lightly. A gorgeous rich alto, infused with natural drama and melancholy”. Born in New Orleans to parents who recently came to the U.S. from the Netherlands, Myshkin now calls Oregon home.

They feature a different guest at each show. The  doors open at 5:30 for dinner, with the show starting at 7 p.m.



On Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8, the Tudor House will be hosting Dr. Peter Dykeman, and it is said you will feel as if you are in the presence of Neil Diamond.

When he previewed his show, “The Perfect Cut”, at the Bands, Burgers & Brews, he wowed the crowd, many of whom bought their tickets for the July show on the spot. For The Perfect Cut show he will be backed up by a number of local musicians.
