Hwy 330 is Closed due to Creek Fire – Update 4- July 26 7:17 p.m.

UPDATE  –  Wednesday July 26 – 7:17 p.m.

The 330 is now open in both directions.

UPDATE 3 –  Wednesday July 26 – 4:37 p.m.

The creek fire is stopped at under 2 acres. Crews on scene for mop up and containment line. Keeping 330 closed for a few hours.

UPDATE 2 –  Wednesday July 26 -3:40 p.m.

Per scanners releasing lots and canceling everything except hand crews.

UPDATE 1 –  Wednesday July 26 -3:22 p.m.

Fire is currently holding at about 1/2 acres. Helitankers only are being used on the fire, as it is under power lines, in a non-retardant area.

U S Forest Service, CA Fire and San Bernardino County Fire are responding. This is the Creek Incident.


Original Story

Running Springs, CA. Highway 330 is closed due to a fire on the side of the mountain. The road is closed from Highland to Live Oak.

The Forest Service is handling this fire at this time. 2 helicopters are working and 2 tankers are on standby.
