Sacramento, CA – State Senator Mike Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga/23rd Dist.) wants to recognize those women who are making a difference in our mountain communities.
The senator’s office is soliciting nominations for the annual Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony which acknowledges the accomplishments of extraordinary women within the 23rd Senate District.
SEEKING WOMEN WHO ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Nominees should have a strong dedication to making a difference through acts of service, philanthropic efforts, or other recognizable contributions to their community. Individuals must live or work within the 23rd Senate District.
NOMINEES MUST RESIDE/WORK WITHIN THE 23RD DISTRICT
The 23rd Senate District includes Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Highland, Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Yucaipa, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Cedar Glen, Cherry Valley, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, Hemet, Homeland, Menifee, Nuevo, San Jacinto, Phelan, Pinon Hills, and Wrightwood.
For those nominating an individual, it is recommended that the individual not have been previously chosen before.
Nominations are open until August 1.
The nominees will be honored at the Women of Distinction event on Friday, November 3, at the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
