Big Bear Valley, CA – On Saturday, October 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., come and revel in Big Bear’s fall foliage, and delight in remarkable homes while magic seems to fill the air, as autumn in the mountains settles in.
Big Bear Valley shows off its charm and architecture during the 38th Annual Hearth & Home Tour, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley. This year, in addition to the traditional home tour, guests are offered the option to experience a wine and cheese tasting event, held from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m., at Alpenhorn Bed & Breakfast Inn, located at 601 Knight Ave. Big Bear Lake.
The Hearth & Home Tour is a great opportunity to appreciate unique Big Bear architecture, as home hostesses guide you through a collection of amazing homes, from historic log cabins to modern-rustic McMansions. The fall colors that surround these homes provide an amazing natural accent.
Tickets are $30, which includes a tour of each home. Tickets for the wine and cheese tasting are an additional $15. Tickets for both may be purchased now on line at : http://SIBBV.clubexpress.com.
