Lake Arrowhead, CA – On Friday, October, 13th, The Tudor House is presenting Suspense Theater. Suspense was first presented on March 13, 1943, Cabin B-13 was written by John Dickson Carr, and is about the story of a newlywed couple who went on board a ship, S.S. Maurevania, for their honeymoon. The groom suddenly disappeared and no one could tell what happened to him. When his wife went to look for him, she found out that there were no records of them being on-board, and that cabin B-13 does not actually exist. This became so popular that Carr was given the chance to create his very own mystery program using the title Cabin B-13.
“The Burning Court” is a story of poisoning with supernatural overtones. One of the guests at a dinner party is a murderer, can you determine which one? The story was first broadcast on “Suspense” and was aired July 22, 1940.
These two classics are being recreated by the Tudor House Players on stage for one night only, October 13th…Friday the 13th.
Doors open at 5:30 for dinner, show time is at 7:00.
