GIVE BIG: 24 Hour Web-a-Thon Supports Mountain non-profit Organizations

Mountain Communities – GIVE BIG San Bernardino County’s 24-hour web-a-thon will be staged on Tuesday, November 28, raising much needed funds for 14 non-profit organizations in the mountain communities.

GIVE BIG San Bernardino County is a 24-hour online giving campaign, which allows donors to give to their favorite causes in our mountain communities.

GIVE BIG San Bernardino County’s goal is to get everyone who cares about the residents of San Bernardino County to help raise funds for the non-profits in just 24 hours on November 28.


More than 100 non-profits have signed up to participate in this year’s campaign countywide, including a growing list in the mountain communities.

The agencies in the Big Bear area seeking GIVE BIG contributions are:

  1. Bear Valley Meals On Wheels
  2. Bear Valley American Association of University Women
  3. Big Bear Valley Education Corporation
  4. Elder Love USA
  5. Friends of the Big Bear Valley
  6. Friends of the Moonridge Zoo DBA Friends of the Alpine Zoo
  7. The Lighthouse Project

The following agencies located in the Lake Arrowhead communities are soliciting GIVE BIG donations:

  1. Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club, Inc.
  2. Friends of the Crestline Library
  3. Mountain Arts Network
  4. Mountain  Counseling & Training, Inc.
  5. Mountain Homeless Coalition
  6. Rim of the World Education Foundation
  7. San Bernardino Mountain Land Trust


GIVE BIG donations are now being accepted online at Type in the name of your non-profit and follow the prompts to donate.
