Santa Has a Busy Schedule This Weekend in Big Bear Valley

Big Bear Valley, CA – The Big Bear area will be a buzz this weekend with Santa Claus visiting several locations in town. Check out Santa and Mrs. Claus’s busy  schedule.



The City of Big Bear Lake will welcome Santa Claus on Friday, November 24, in the Village. Festivities  begin at 5 p.m., at the intersection of Pine Knot and Village Drive, Santa and Mrs Claus are expected to arrive by sleigh at 6 p.m., to celebrate the lighting of the Big Bear Lake Christmas Tree. The festive event will get you in the spirit of the holidays with live entertainment and carolers.


Santa’s work doesn’t end there, though. The Big Bear Fire Department will be lighting the Christmas Tree at 301 W. Big Bear Blvd. at Sawmill Drive. The celebration begins at 5 p.m., with the tree being lit promptly at 5:30 p.m. Kids can bring  their wish list to Santa. Hot Coffee and cider will be served.




On Saturday, November 25th, Santa will be arriving by helicopter to greet all the children and hear their Christmas wishes. This is the 9th annual Breakfast with Santa Fly-In and is sponsored by the Barnstorm Restaurant and Big Bear. The Barnstorm has a special breakfast for $8, plus the regular and kids menu will be available. There’s plenty of parking, but arrive early to see Santa fly in. This all takes place at the Big Bear Airport terminal building at 501 W. Valley Blvd., at Big Tree Drive, just north of Big Bear Blvd.
