Mountain Communities – The celebration of Christmas 2017 will mean closures of many offices, and curtailment of certain services. The ROTWNEWS.com team extends best wishes for a Merry Christmas as families gather to enjoy the holiday season.
Here are some of the scheduled closings in for Christmas:
CALTRANS – There are no planned lane closure during the holiday period.
CITY OF BIG BEAR LAKE – City offices will be closed December 25.
COURTS – All San Bernardino County Courthouses will be closed on December 25.
MAIL DELIVERIES – There will be no mail delivery on Christmas Day.
STATE/COUNTY OFFICES – State and county offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
TRANSPORTATION – Mountain Transit offices will be closed and buses will not run on Christmas Day. Metrolink will operate a Sunday schedule on the San Bernardino and Antelope Valley lines only on Christmas Day. No other Metrolink lines will operate.
TRASH PICK-UP – Trash pick-up may be delayed one day, check with your provider.
SCHOOLS – Rim of the World Unified School District (December 22-January 5) and Bear Valley Unified School District (December 22-January 12) campuses will be closed, California State University San Bernardino (December 25-January 1) will be closed.
