“Mountain Solutions for Poverty” to be Held Sunday, January 7, 2018

Lake Arrowhead, CA – Mountain Homeless Coalition (MHC) and Rim Communities Resource Network (RCRN) are hosting a community Presentation entitled “Mountain Solutions for Poverty” Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., at the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church, located at 351 State Highway 173, Lake Arrowhead.


Kathy Estes, the Coordinator of Coordinated School Health Programs for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, will help us learn more about the needs of the homeless and near homeless. Kathy is an expert in the field of poverty, shares strategies about how people come out of poverty. She works with teenagers surviving on the streets, peer leadership and in training teachers and staff on dealing with bullying.

The Point in Time Count on Thursday, January 25, 2018, will be discussed and those who would like to participate in the mountain homeless count are encouraged to attend. All are welcomed and refreshments will be served.
