Twin Peaks, CA – The mountain communities are invited to a steaming hot spaghetti dinner with all the fixings, to be served at the annual Mountain Meals on Wheels (MMOW) Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser, on Sunday, April 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Mountain Communities Senior Center located in Twin Peaks. Tickets are available at the door, $8/adult and $4/child.
SPAGHETTI WITH ALL THE FIXINS
The successful event, continuous for 20 years, will again present delicious spaghetti and meat sauce provided by Chef Extraordinaire, Thacker White.
There will also be a salad bar, garlic bread, and desserts, provided by Mountains Communities Hospital. Iced tea, lemonade, and coffee, provided by MMOW.
Opportunity drawings for beautiful baskets and center pieces will be offered.
WHAT IS MEALS ON WHEELS?
Mountain Meals on Wheels has been providing nutritious mid-day meals to home bound mountain residents who are unable to prepare/shop for themselves due to illness, disability, or frailty.
This will be an opportunity to meet the board of directors, drivers, and volunteers of Mountain Meals on Wheels.
Volunteer drivers deliver meals Monday thru Friday, 52 weeks a year.
