Crestline, CA – The Ceremonial First Shovel, to begin the Lake Gregory dam project, took place on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. The project should be complete by the first quarter of 2019.

The welcome to guests was delivered by Beahta Davis, Director, San Bernardino County Regional Parks.

Crestline Veteran’s of Foreign Wars (VFW) presented the colors. The pledge of allegiance and invocation were given by Pastor Bill Mellinger, Crestline First Baptist Church.

Speakers included Janice Rutherford, Second District County Supervisor, Rick Dinon, Lake Gregory Improvement Committee, and Jordan Sukut, Rockforce Construction, the company that will be doing the work on the dam.

Special Recognition was given special recognition by Beahta Davis and Janice Rutherford.

The Ceremonial First Shovel closed out the program.
