Lake Arrowhead, CA – Mountains Community Hospital (MCH), in conjunction with LifeStream, will host a blood drive and bone marrow screening on Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. MCH is located at 29101 Hospital Road, Lake Arrowhead.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO DONATE BLOOD
Individuals who are at least 15 years of age can donate blood. All prospective donors must be free of infections, or illness, and must weigh at least 110 pounds, and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.
Donors are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids prior to the donation process, and to bring along photo identification.
PARENTAL CONSENT NECESSARY FOR THOSE 15-16 YEARS OF AGE
Those between the ages of 15-16 must provide written parental consent. Parental consent forms are available at any donor center, community blood drive or on line at http://www.LStream.org.
RECEIVE DONOR POINTS FOR ON LINE PURCHASES
Donors receive free cholesterol screening, and points that may be redeemed for items through Life Stream online donor store.
